The unofficial start to summer is now here, how long was our winter anyway? To kick things off at Annie Mame new pillows and aprons are in to spruce up the house or the lakeside cottage. Yes, of course “Made in Connecticut!”

I don’t know about you, but my cursive writing skills are tremendously short of spectacular, but there are others who possess this skill and I get to showcase her work. Lisa Fatone’s beautiful signs on re purposed wood and driftwood have come to Annie Mame.  Lisa is from Westbrook, Connecticut and I met her many moons ago on the Guilford, Connecticut green where she was selling her beautiful jewelry, which she still makes today. She loves turquoise and so do I. Because we live by the shore in Connecticut, all shades of that color remind me of waves, which remind me of summertime, my favorite season of the year.
