This is so exciting, Tim Sway of Wallingford and I are joining forces for good. Tim whipped up these awesome vintage Connecticut signs. They are all made out of woods collected from around the state, some date back 100 years! It is a beautiful piece for a family room or cottage.
Tim is a furniture maker by trade and a musician too. He is a wonderful guy whose official bio is, “I make nice things for nice people out of things that would otherwise be thrown away.” His business mission statement is to “make worthless things priceless.”
And so in keeping with that mission, part of the proceeds of these will go to the Toy Closet Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital. There are just ten of these in this series, all one-of-a-kind, and they are beautiful, just in time for the holidays. Enjoy the video Tim did for you below on how he made these with his son.
