Setting Up Shop in Madison

Moving, moving, rearranging, centering, multiples of threes, waiting for back drops to arrive to set up the whole new Annie Mame in Madison, Connecticut. I learned a lot about display from Tony Venetucci in Westbrook, where I started my retail story, now trying to put all the knowledge onto the floor in the new space. I continue to be in awe of small business and what they have to do to get their bricks and mortar up and running and looking stunning. I don’t know half of what I need to, but I’m a quick study and implementing what I have learned so far. The vase goes this way, nope, it needs to go this way, straighten, straighten, now stand back and look at it. The next time you hope into a store just know that there are a ton of movement going into where one item lands, boy is it an art. By the way does anybody know a “Joyce” I’ve got a poster for her…

Good luck in your new shop, I see that you have several of Allison’s Aegean Designs on display. Wonderful!
