I can’t believe these gorgeous glitter deco hand-stenciled canvas panels are up in Annie Mame. I have to thank Ceasar at Venetucci home for his amazing help today in getting these up. Wait until you see these close up. I discovered this artist, Cynthia Davis at the Festival of Trees show house in Fairfield over the holidays and I couldn’t take my eyes off of her work. I stopped at nothing until I found out who did them. Once I located her we had a conversation and voila! here they are. The canvas is painted and then hand-stenciled and then glittered. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what Cynthia does on walls, go to her web site and see.
Not only is Cynthia of Trumbull, Connecticut an amazing accomplished artist, very well known in Fairfield County, but she is also an incredible philanthropist and humanitarian. She teaches art to women in Sudan so that they may move their lives ahead with a skill. I and Venetucci Home will be doing a fundraiser for her soon so that this project in Africa which is so near and dear to Cynthia’s heart can benefit. Cynthia is involved with Hope For Ariang and The Sudan Canvas Project. Cynthia also works with Habitat for Humanity, you will love meeting her!
