Ann, you would love our seaglass. My mother-in-law, who has since passed away, loved to collect it along the Maine coast. She had many old wine carafes full of it. Everyone got one. It’s beautiful; all the different colors. Every now and then I pour it out and give it a bath and look at all of it, knowing how much she loved to walk the beach and look for it. Thanks for making me remember that!
You can almost smell the seaweed! :>)
Any chance I could find out where this beach is? My kids and I need a day at the beach. But I hate the crowds and would really love some tide pools to explore.
Cindy, this is East Wharf Beach in Madison, Connecticut. It is lovely and not crowded at all.
