Swingin Country ~ Connecticut’s Alexa Beauregard

Pay attention to this name, Alexa Beauregard. Alexa is just 15 years old, but has the stage presence of a much older performer. Alexa is an aspiring country singer from Connecticut. Connecticut loves its country music by the way, just ask around and you’ll see.

This video is of Alexa at last year’s Durham Agricultural Fair in Durham, Connecticut.. If you’ve never been to that extravaganza, you need to, it’s amazing. Alexa’s Dad gave me a CD with five of her recordings on it, and I listened to it in the car and then shared it with others at work, and we’ve decided stardom probably isn’t too far away, she’s good. Look out American Idol…you’ve got some Nutmeg talent coming at you.

Alexa, follow your dreams, stay true to yourself, we’ll be watching for your successes to come.

I just began listening to country western, music my Dad LOVED, a couple of weeks ago on the radio and I am now totally obsessed with it. Can’t get enough of it.
