Hi Ann!
I am a rabid knitter/crocheter and am always looking for a new yarn shop to prowl. I so agree with you about the friendly part. I have gone to many a shop and have been greeted by a clerk talking to another clerk and ignoring the fact I’ve even stopped in. Look forward to your findings! Evelynne

Evelynne, you need to check out Old Saybrook’s shop and also there’s a great one in Madison, called “Madison Wool.”

Hi Ann-
When you find yourself in NW CT again, stop by “The Village Sheep” in Washington Depot. It is an amazing knitting/yarn store! You’ll probably be greeted by Nate the friendly “shop dog”. Owner Maggie Ohmen is gem!
Happy stitching!
Lisa

Lisa, tank you so much! I will drop in.
